CHINA
About 70 locations across China, including western Xinjiang as far as Tashkurgan. Tibet at and between Lhasa and Everest Base Camp. As far north as Liaoning Province to the riverine border at Dandong / North Korea and as far south as the southernmost island province, Hainan. The Gobi Desert shots are Inner Mongolia.

Ethnic groups, cities, towns, villages and hinterlands across the southerly provinces and regions of China. Included are: Anhui, Chongqing, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan and Zhejiang. Ethnic groups include: Bai, Buyei, Dong, Hani, Hui, Miao, Yao, Yi and Zhuang.
XINJIANG
Uyghur, Kazakh and Tajik people of far west Xinjiang, including Kashgar, at Kashgar Livestock Market, along the road to Tashkurgan and other remote high country locations.

Mainly Uyghur people at market, Jiaohe Ruins and Emin Minaret and Mosque in and around the ancient oasis city of Turpan, officially known as Turpan Prefecture, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

Ayutthaya: Kingdom of Krung Tai - Mostly relics and ruins of what must have been an extraordinary fairytale-like scene before the Burmese got their hands on it, ripped the jewels and gold from the structures, busted up the Buddha statues and just generally made a mess of the place.

Chiang Rai to Burma - Some sights and sites in Chiang Rai, the night market, walking street, food stalls, bars, the countryside then up to Mae Sai at the border and over into Burma. There a few frames of the town of Tachileik. The White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) is kind of different.

Siem Reap: Night and Nightlife - Along the streets in the evening, in the clubs late, a quick tour of the Siem Reap scene.

Seaside Sanur - A quick and uneventful tour around the Bali Sea coastline at Sanur.
BORNEO
Being Borneo: Semporna to Sipadan - In and around the town of Semporna with its mainly Muslim residents, then to a tiny island in the Celebes Sea. Name of island, if any, unknown. Migratory residents here are the Bajau, known as the "Sea Gypsies", like the Moken of Thailand and other SE Asian islands and coasts. Then a few frames on Sipadan.
VIETNAM
Hanoi by Prayer and Jazz - A few frames around Hoan Kiem Lake, a couple of parks, alleys and side streets, then night shots of the Hanoi jazz scene, including Quyen Van Minh working over the sax at his club. Also pictured: The Opera House, Green Tangerine restaurant and some kid with a sidearm looking for payback, from the looks of things.
